I also managed to make some other color palettes more interesting as well. So the main thing I improved was fixing the sprite colors, which I'll cover in just a second. Ellie, Karbine (including his fireballs!), Bleak, Lurchin, the Bear Coins, Squitter's webs, and a ton of other things were purple. Most notably, a lot of neutral-colored things were PURPLE. Even though the Japanese version (the only GBC version out there) was a big improvement over the original version, and at times looks better than the GBA DKC games, there were some things that were very oddly colored.
